Scheuten Glass has been active in the development and production of quality glass products since 1950. Scheuten Glass has got factories in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. Scheuten Glass has a wide range of products, varying from thermal insulation, solar control, sound insulation, safety, fire resistance and design glass for the international construction market.

Why did Scheuten choose Kiwa? 
Scheuten has a long-standing relationship with Kiwa, which still is satisfactory to date. The Scheuten organization has been through tremendous developments over the past years, and had to reassess their requirements for certification institutes. Kiwa has always been able to adept and grow with these changing demands. Currently all product and system certificates are issued by Kiwa. For some certification schemes a multiple site approach was implemented. All certification services have been incorporated in one contract for all 100% Scheuten companies in the three above mentioned countries. Also agreements were made on planning, communication and reporting of all activities and output. This gives Scheuten the possibility to facilitate their sites centrally with one certification institute which checks the way of working. The effort required from the individual sites is thus reduced to a minimum. Another advantage is the central overview Scheuten gets of the quality level of all various sites. This enables Scheuten to monitor and adjust when necessary in a prompt and optimal way at all time, which guarantees a uniform quality level towards the customer.

How do you value your contacts within Kiwa? 
Scheuten has got a good relationship with various contacts, auditors and inspectors. They are adaptive, flexible and have a professional attitude.

How do you rate the knowledge level of the Kiwa employees?
The knowledge level of Kiwa employees is of an adequate level. Scheuten make use of a diverse team of Kiwa auditors, where every member has a certain discipline or specialty. This way Scheuten has always a Kiwa employee with the required knowledge available.
