Lars Lindberg, Managing Director of GFAB lindberg & co and Gert Hultman, Managing Director of GFAB gemaxglas explain why they started the certification process: ‘We want to be a reliable supplier for our customers. When we are certified by a notified body like Kiwa, we think it is a good thing for our production process and it helps us in better marketing our products.’ Hultman continues: ‘We decided we wanted Kiwa to test and certify a number of our safety glass products because Kiwa is well known and has a good reputation. They offer a full range of services and this, combined with their knowledge, is worth a lot as well.’ Lindberg adds: ‘Another important reason is the fact that our Quality Manager Anna-Lena Fransson recommended us to use Kiwa for this certification program.’ Hultman concludes: ‘To GFAB, Kiwa really exceeded its reputation.’
